Biography |
Connie Shingledecker is a 30-year veteran law enforcement officer with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office. She is currently the Investigative Bureau Chief over Criminal Investigations, Narcotics and Vice, and Child Protective Investigations. Major Shingledecker has a BA degree in Public Administration with a minor in Criminology and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. She is very active in her community and serves as the chair of the Florida Statewide Child Death Review Team, a member of the Manatee Glens Board, Manatee County Children’s Services Advisory Board, Teen Pregnancy Prevention Committee, and the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton. She has been married to Jim Shingledecker for 26 years and they have a 23-year-old daughter, Keri.
